The tour begins with the trip towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. Surrounded by modernity of a city lies the durbar square with its architectural masterpieces dating back to 12th, 14th to 18th century. Taleju temple with other pagoda temples, Hanuman Dhoka, courtyards, idol of Kal Bhairav, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar are many attractions of durbar square. After revisiting ancient era, you move towards another marvelous heritage site, Swayambhunath stupa. Spreading the message of peace, stands the dome shaped Swayambhunath stupa at the top of the hill. Also known as monkey-temple upon reaching the place you will know as why it is called so. Along with the huge white lofty dome shaped stupa, Swayambhunath, there are many other attractions such as shrines, temples, monastery, museum and library. Relaxing at the top of the hill amidst the cool breeze, and overhearing the Buddhists chants and viewing Kathmandu city heightens your day tour experience.

Alike Swayambhunath stupa about four miles from Kathmandu city lie the largest stupa in Nepal, Boudhanath. A famous religious site for Buddhists, Boudhanath is much similar to Swayambhunath stupa. On the three layered spherical Mandala rises Boudhanath stupa higher in the sky. Upon reaching this distinct stupa the heart is filled with joy and peace.

After the Buddhists shrines you will visit Pashupatinath temple. This is the oldest temple located at the north-east of Kathmandu. A sacred and renowned temple of hindu devotees lies in the bank of Holy River, Bagmati. Non-hindu is not allowed to enter the temple. Spreading around 264 hectare of land there are many temples of various deities in Pashupatinath temple premises. Like Swayambhunath there are many monkeys around the temple.
